Shakas Rock is situated on the KwaZulu Natal North Coast. Shakas Rock has a secluded beach and a large tidal pool. It is said to have been a favourite resort of Shaka when he built his kraal at kwaDukuza. The rock is a promontory over which he is said to have thrown his enemies.
