Description

The nine units are located on the beach within the Channel Rocks and Sovereign Sands complex at Blythedale Beach on the Dolphin Coast 30km north of Ballito. These units are self-contained and have all the necessary amenities for self-catering holidays for a group of up to 8 people per three bedroom units.

There are six three bedroom units with main en-suite. One two bedroom unit and two one bedroom unit (all but the one bedoom units have lock-up garages). All are sea-facing with partial sea views except for the one bedroom units.

All units have a DStv decoder with limited channels. For full viewing bring your own smart card. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a stove, fridge, microwave and four of the units have a dishwasher. The kitchen/lounge/dining room areas are open-plan and flow out onto a private fron patio, with a view of the beach through the coastal dune vegetation.

There is a large private swimming pool for tenants between the hours of 8:00am to 17:00pm and of course the swimming beach is just a few meters away.

Other Amenities: Forest walks can be made from the back door, through the natural coastal dune forest, behind and north of Blythedale, for those who relish the opportunity to immerse themselves in these natural surroundings, to view the bird life and other flora and fauna of the coast. Excellent bird-watching at the Umvoti River Mouth Lagoon some 3km to the South or at the Nonoti Rover mouth 4km to the north can be done on foot.

There is also a convenience store, within walking distance of the complex, at the Blythedale main Beach. A large selection of supermarkets and other stores are to be found at Stanger some 5km inland, or at Ballito 30km to the South. Gateway, the largest shopping complex in the Southern Hemisphere, lies outside Umhlanga Rocks, a further 30km to the South on the N2.
