Once you have turned off the N2 freeway heading to Shaka's Rock (a short drive of approximately two kilometres) adjacent to one of KwaZulu Natal's premier upmarket North Coast Golfing and Eco Estate's, Simbethi, you turn left into The Royal Meander Manor Boutique Guest Lodge. Only 40 minutes drive from Durban International Airport and 500 meters from the beach, our stately establishment is nestled amongst indigenous trees and elevated with unrestricted views of the Indian Ocean, peaceful and tranquil yet close enough to hear the waves crashing as they race onto shore.

From the moment you enter our Guest Lodge, through the large double doors, you are welcomed by our friendly efficient staff and the expansive open lounge dining areas overlooking the ocean. Meander Manor has a opulent feel created by our careful selection of quality furniture and fittings, with delicate care taken in furnishing the Guest Lodge to add to the majestic Indian Ocean view which serve as the our focal point throughout the Guest Lodge and adds to our friendly and inviting atmosphere whilst simultaneously allowing that seaside holiday bug to be ever present at our Guest Lodge.

Our accommodation at Meander Manor consists of nine luxury suites on the upper level … allowing for extra privacy and magnificent sea views for all sea facing suites, as well as an upstairs guest lounge creating a relaxing yet stylish environment for our patrons to enjoy. You can spend your afternoons relaxing in our formal lounge as the library beckons or take a cocktail and lounge next to the pool linking your thoughts with the Ocean. Children are most welcome at Meander Manor, with a climbing castle and lawns set slightly below the main Guest Lodge area within the terraced and landscaped gardens for your children's enjoyment. Safe beaches with Life Guards are 5 minutes away, with a main beach and tidal pool, or just walk along the beach for miles … all easily accessible from our Guest Lodge.

Our Meander Manor Health spa facility is sublime and offers a number of treatments using a variety of products and methods including Indian head massages and full body hot stone massage, all of which will leave you completely rejuvenated and totally relaxed. For avid golfers there are a number of top class golf courses in close proximity to The Royal Meander Manor Boutique Guest Lodge and arrangements can be made at our Guest Lodge to transfer you to and from these venues.

Dining at the Royal Meander Manor Restaurant, be it in the dining area or on the adjacent patio is a treat with meals prepared by our dedicated and professional Head Chef in the true Natal North Coast tradition of culinary delights. Continental Breakfast is served in accordance with guest's time schedules and requirements so as to allow for a full day shopping at Gateway or lazing at the beach.
