DescriptionBellevue House was built in early 1900 and affectionately restored as a warm and comforting Bed & Breakfast residence for tourists and businessmen. Graceful furnishings, inspired gastronomic contentment and a fine compliment of staff are presented to make certain your stay at Bellevue House is a marvellous occasion. We are located a short, two minute walk from Musgrave Shopping Centre, cinemas, not far from the Botanic Gardens, ICC and various gyms, close to ATMs and on the Comrades Route with easy access to the N2 and N3 freeways. Newscafe, Spur, Mimos, Circus Circus and many other fine restaurants are two minute's walk away.ROOMSWith a separate entrance to the bedrooms, we offer four discerningly decorated rooms, two of which are very large, airconditioned and fitted with queen size beds and two rooms fitted with double beds. All of the rooms have ample cupboard space, TV and personal amenities for our guest's complete comfort. Guests have the option of the upstairs lounge for a more gentle respite or the downstairs lounge with the interaction of the daily life of the guesthouse. FOODBreakfasts are presented as Colonial or English with a range of fresh cereals, yoghurts, muffins and juices. Breakfast is served on the patio overlooking the pool but indoors if the weather is inclement. Guests are welcome to enquire about our lunch and dinner menus. We would be pleased to assist with your particular dietary requirements. Guests at Bellevue House can expect all of our attention to your personal comfort including the complimentary local morning or afternoon newspaper and the fine chocolate on the pillows at night. The library of biographies and non-fiction/general interest books is available to guests as is the selection of current magazines. DirectionsWhen travelling on the western freeway (N3) towards Durban take the Tollgate bridge turn off. Once through the robots Bellevue Road is the second left off Berea Road South. If travelling out from Durban on the N3 freeway, take the Berea Road off ramp, turn left over the bridge into Musgrave or Essenwood Roads and then take the first left up Silverton Road. Bellevue Road is left off Silverton Road. |
