Description

Located in the main street, on the Lake side, away from the busy town area. Yet close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. The garden has big trees and lots of plants for a tranquil atmosphere.

We offer 3 ground floor conjoined apartments (chalets) and 2 budget type flats. Parking is on the premises under a roof cover. The units do not have a view of the lake, each unit has a garden view and own braai facility and garden furniture, separated by plants at the unit entrance. There is a small swimming pool on the lake side. All units have access to the swimming pool, front garden and lake via a communal path.

All units have their own kitcen, bathroom and lounge area. We provide kitchen towels and cloths as well as bath towels, beds and bedding.

The Chalets have one bathroom each with bath and separate shower. One bedroom has double bed the other bedroom has 2 single beds and there are 2 single bunker beds in the lounge area. The single bedroom has an aircon ditioner and the other rooms oscillating fans. The kitchen area has a fridge, deep freezer, stove (with oven) and microwave oven. All cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and pots are provided, a coffee plunger and tea pot. The tv is in the lounge with dstv hotel package (mnet movie 1 &2, all sports channels and SABC channels). There is a dining table and chairs and longe chairs. The patio walks unto an own garden area. Non-Smoking units. Ground floor, face- brick walls inside and outside, high pine ceilings, louvre windows with gause in front of all opening windows and doors, ceramic tile floors and carpets in the bedrooms. We have 2 six sleeper units and 1 four sleeper unit.

The affordable budget type flats are part of the original house converted into 3 units. Each unit has 6 steps to the door, own bathoom, kitchen, bedroom and lounge area. Each unit has 1 bedroom only with ceiling fans. The kitchen area has a combination fridge, plug-in stove (with oven) and microwave oven. All cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and pots are provided, a coffee plunger and tea pot. Tv in lounge with SABC channels only, no remotes.

Flat 4 has sunken bath and separate shower. Kitchen with dining table. Bedroom with 4 single beds of which 2 are bunker. S;eep max 4 persons.

Flat 5 has a shower only. Bedroom has a double bed and 2 single bed bunker. 2 single stack beds in the lounge area with lounge chairs and dining table. This flat is next to the swimming pool and has a view of the garden to the lake. Sleep max 6 persons.

St Lucia Wilds is family owned and managed who lives in the original house. We prefer nature lovers and groups of max 10 or less.

What to bring:

Own toiletries, food, insect repellent, f briquettes (we provide 2 different types of grills),

sunscreen lotion, sunhats, binoculars, cameras, raincoat or umbrella, snorkle gear

Climate: Sub-tropical with hot and very humid summers(Feb / March), warm winters, rainfall all year peaking in summer.

Malaria: low risk area with non-drug measurements advised. Season Sep to May peaking Feb-Mar. If in doubt contact your pharmacist.

In town: St Lucia has a post office, hardware store, coffee shop, many restaurants, police station, butchery, pharmacy, small supermarket, fresh fruit and curio market, liqour stores, booking offices, clothing shops (PEP Store), outdoor shop, business centre/stationer/craft/book and lots more shop.

Rates

Rates are charged per person per night with max rate charged during high seasons and long weekends.

High season is government school holidays and long weekends (minimum days and sepcific dates apply).

Low season is all other times.

Children are part of the maximum persons allowed per unit and do not stay free, please specify ages for reduced rate.

No pets are allowed on this premises and accommodation will be forfeited should you arrive with pets. We are part of a "reserve" and you cannot take your pets anywhere but the beach.

On arrival a visitor details, indemnity and acceptance of conditions of stay form must be signed.

The following will not be allowed on the premises so that all guests can have an enjoyable stay: any type of fireworks/popcrackers, noisy toys, plastic wheel trikes/ skateboards /loud drunken behaviour/quadbikes /ketties /guns /littering or smoking in the units.
