DescriptionTake your senses back in time, to an era when travelling with tents was the only way to explore this magnificent land. With a view stretching out over the plains, to the ancient Lembombo Mountains, the Heritage Tented Safari Camp offers a sense of safari adventure. Situated within the secure estate of the Heritage Safari Lodge, the tented camp is close enough for easy access to the bars, dining and entertainment areas of the main building, and yet removed enough to give you the feeling of a bush camp. With its own helipad, reception boma, private boma for al fresco meals and a magnificent swimming pool featuring natural rock, the Heritage Tented Safari Camp is entirely self-contained and self-sufficient, providing the perfect base for individual travellers or large groups. What better way to experience the romance and mystique of Africa? The Heritage Tented Safari Camp is the ideal base from which to conduct your exploration of this rich and diverse, natural conservation region. Eco lectures, game drives and guided walks in the Zulu Nyala Game Reserve, are amongst the activities on offer. The camp is also situated close to the Zulu Cultural Village, whose dancers visit us nightly to awe and amaze with their fitness and skill. Supported by tourism, the inhabitants of the village are able to continue their traditional way of life and maintain the cultural practices of their proud Zulu ancestors. The estate adjoins the Zulu Nyala Game Reserve, and games drives, river boat cruises and clay pigeon shooting at Zulu Nyala can be arranged on request subject to availability.
