Directions

From Johannesburg and airport Take the N2 North, keep going until you pass the KwaMashu turnoff. From North Coast Take the N2 South until you pass the Sibaya turnoff. Next offramp should be the Umhlanga, Phoenix, Mount Edgecombe turnoff. If you’ve come from the North Coast turn left, if you’ve come from the south turn right, stay in middle lane. Ahead of you, you will see the new Millennium Bridge, a sort of white arched thing. Make sure you go under the bridge. Almost immediately after you’ve been under the bridge take the next offramp which will take you to Umhlanga Rocks Drive. At the top of the offramp turn left. You will pass McDonalds on your left, go through the first traffic circle, then pass the Umhlanga Hospital and a few other buildings, then go through the second circle. Make sure to go straight through the second traffic circle (keep in the left lane to do so). You will then pass the Sharks Board on your left. After the Sharks Board take the first right which is Royal Palm. Go down to the T-junction (fountain in the middle) and turn left into Windsor and then first right into Pearl. Go straight down Pearl to another T-junction which is Hilken Drive. Opposite the stop street are two gates. We are the left hand gate, sign outside for Umbrella Tree House.
