This gracious old Victorian home, built in the 1920’s with its special architectural design offers you great comfort and old gleaming Oregon pine floors creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The smell of the freshly brewed coffee will invite you to relax on the patio or in the garden overlooking Durban’s Harbour.

Sparkling Star is situated in the heart of Glenwood close to the University of Natal, St. Augustine’s and Entabeni Hospitals and an easy drive to the CBD and Durban’s central beaches. Musgrave and Davenport shopping centers and some fine restaurants are also an easy drive away.

Unaccompanied Ladies can be assured of a secure environment.
English/Continental breakfast served in the dining area or patio between 7-9am. Should you require any special dietary requirements, please let us know on booking, as we can cater for your needs.

Accommodation

All 5 bedrooms are uniquely decorated and fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms. Quality linen is provided in all rooms. Four bedrooms are equipped with twin beds and one bedroom with a queen bed and single bed.

Each rooms has:

• Coffee and tea facilities

A full English /Continental Breakfast is served with freshly brewed coffee. Breakfasts are served between 7am - 9 am. Morning newspapers are available. We are a non smoking establishment with smoking only permitted on the patio and outside areas.
