Description

Having left Belgium 14 years ago, my husband and I have finally found the peace and tranquility we were looking for!

After moving from place to place, from country to country, we landed in "Mtunzini", "place in the shade" in Zulu...

How fortunate we were, this little town, on the North coast, has its own nature reserve! "Umlalazi Nature Reserve", a magnificent lagoon, breathtaking dunes and endless beach... 2.3km exactly from our cottage!

A "Spar", shops around the corner, a pizzeria, few restaurants, make it all convenient.

Richard’s Bay airport, 45km away, has many car rental agencies, but pick ups can be arranged...

Situated 135km from Durban, our cottage is an hour away from the renowned big five "Hlululuwe/Umfolozi Park", half an hour more to get to "St Lucia Wetland Park", on the magnificent Maputaland coast - A world heritage site, where Scuba diving is a must!

On a cloudy day, an hour's drive and you can experience "Umhlanga Gateaway shopping center" where kids can enjoy the skateboard park and wave center, climb the wall or watch a movie...

Nkawu Cottage is definitely ideally situated to enjoy an amazing stay...

After discovering Zululand, you will dream of its green beauty, blue ocean and feel enriched with diverse memorable experiences...

Our totally independent cottage has...

Two separated bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with 2 single
Beds both have air conditioners (an extra bed can also be arranged)
Open plan dining/living room and entrance hall
TV and video machine
Fully furnished kitchen where every practical detail has been thought of!
Bathroom with a basin, shower/bath facility
Separate toilet, with no ordinary lights!
Towels and sheets are provided, bring your own beach towels though
Lots of cupboard space
Barbeque area with garden furniture
Secure parking
Table tennis on site
Laundry facilities at extra cost

We really enjoyed decorating our cottage, we used our creativity and professional skills (paint technique specialist) to make it a very special place...
