Kloof borders Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, featuring a wide variety of wildlife and birds making their homes in the indigenous forest habitat. The reserve is situated on the Kloof Gorge and the river provides spectacular waterfalls.
Kloof boasts several shopping centers, all with facilities of a small town, as well as several to public and private schools. Golf Courses nearby include Kloof Country Club (just 5 minutes away) and the new Cotswold Downs.
Kloof is a mostly residential area with a temperate climate, which doesn't experience extremes of heat or cold. Summers are warm but pleasant and winters are exceptionally mild. The rainy season is during the summer. Accommodation Guests choose from ten elegantly furnished en-suite bedrooms each with its own distinctive character.
All en-suite bathrooms have baths, separate showers and heated towel rails. Guests may request a room with a fireplace.

DirectionsFrom Durban International Airport, take the N2 North and glide off at the Pietermaritzburg turnoff onto the N3. Continue 6.5km and glide off at the Pinetown M13 sign. Drive 11km along the M13 and glide off at Everton Rd/Gillits (Exit 26). Turn right at the traffic lights over the highway and proceed down Everton Rd for 1km to our gate on the left hand side.
From Pietermaritzburg, take the N3 towards Durban and after approximately 50km take the Hillcrest glide off to the left and proceed for 8km to the Everton Rd/Gillits off ramp (Exit 26). At the stop street turn left into Everton and proceed to our gate 1km down the road on the left hand side.
