What do our users think13.04.2008 by Lora Rossler from South Africa - 2/5- I took a colleague from Australia who was visiting for the first time to this lodge when we could not get accommodation at man others - should have been a warning sign. Buhslands has a pleasant setting and accommodation is acceptable although definitely not 4 star. What was most disappointing was the total absence of management , especially when on arrival we did not have water for about 3-4 hours. Several phone calls yielded very little response or information, we just had to wait. On returning to the lodge after our early morning game drive, we found the breakfast cold and most of it finished. Surely if you have arranged an early morning game drive for some guests you plan to have hot breakfast for them or you offer them a packed breakfast? The Restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful and made up a bit for very indifferent lodge management. My overall impression is that Bushlands needs to up their standard.
