The Assagay Hotel is a delightful Country Hotel and Conference Centre, conveniently situated between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. It is a picturesque and tranquil venue, ideal for conferences, weddings and functions or even that much needed weekend away.

Directions

Coming from Durban/Pinetown Take the N3 to Pietermaritzburg from Durban Central, or Durban Airport, to the Marianhill Toll Plaza. Go through the toll plaza and take the next turn off 32 (Assagay / Shongweni). At the top of the offramp turn right. Approximately 700m from the off ramp is an Engen Garage. Turn right at the garage. The hotel driveway is directly in front of you. Coming from Johannesburg / Pietermaritzburg Take the N3 to Durban. Stay on the N3 and by pass the M13 / Hillcrest turn off. Take the next turn after the Hillcrest turn off. Its called the Assagay / Shongweni turn off. Turn left at the top of the off ramp into Kassier Road. Approximately 650m from the off ramp you will see an Engen garage to your right. Turn right and the hotel driveway will be in front of you.
