Anchor’s Rest has excellent security with electric fencing and gates so that you can relax and enjoy your leisure, or business activities. Leave your vehicle in our secure car park and walk to all facilities of Umhlanga Rocks including the restaurants for an evening meal, leaving you with peace of mind regarding the "drinking and driving" regulations. Suite 1Large, luxuriously appointed garden suite which sleeps two adults in either a king size bed, or twin beds. A third person or child (above the age of 10 years) can be accommodated on a sleeper couch. Suite 1 is often referred to as the "Honeymoon Suite" as it is private and spacious where you can relax in the lounge area, or on the private patio enjoying the abundant bird life in the indigenous trees.Honeymoon couples are welcomed to Anchor's Rest with a complimentary cold bottle of sparkling wine and a box of chocolates. Suite 2Large, beautifully appointed garden suite which sleeps two adults in either a king size bed, or twin beds. A third person or child (above the age of 10 years) can be accommodated on a sleeper couch.This suite has a large corner bath and shower, which is ideal for a long, luxurious soak! There is a private covered patio, which is ideal for outdoor living. Situated in the garden away from other guest rooms, you have the feeling of being in a private garden apartment. Suite 3A well-appointed two roomed suite, which consists of a separate bedroom and lounge with a full en suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath. The lounge can be made up as a bedroom with a double size sleeper couch for a third person, or child (above the age of 10 years).The suite is air conditioned with ceiling fans and both rooms have DStv with personal decoders. Suite 4A large, luxuriously appointed suite overlooking the pool and tropical garden. This suite has a large, private patio with an electric sun awning, which is ideal for protection from the hot midday sun or to make your evening barbecue that bit cosier.This suite accommodates two people in either a king size bed, or twin beds, with a large en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath. BreakfastChoose between a sumptuous English breakfast, or a healthy Continental breakfast, or have both! Breakfast is served in the air-conditioned dining room or on the patio, weather permitting.RelaxationAfter a busy day sight seeing, sun tanning on the beach, or a day at the office, you can relax around the sparkling pool enjoying the balmy, tropical weather of the north coast. In the evening barbecue under the stars, dine al-fresco in the garden, or take a walk into Umhlanga to enjoy the excellent cuisine of many fine restaurants.Sporting FacilitiesNearby sporting facilities include golf, tennis, squash, health clubs, scuba diving and snorkeling, deep sea and rock/beach fishing, surfing, horse riding, micro light and helicopter flights, quad biking, skate boarding and ten pin bowling are all available within a short distance of Anchor’s Rest.ServiceAirport transfers can be arranged at competitive rates.
