DescriptionAt Anchor's Rest we can offer guests up market, affordable accommodation with excellent service and warm hospitality, all within easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.Accommodation Anchor's Rest has 3 luxury self-catering suites (which can also be taken on a B&B basis out of season), 1 two-roomed B&B suite and 1 standard, B&B rear-facing room. Please note we cannot accommodate children under the age of 10 years.Each of the suites offers the following facilities:
Anchor’s Rest has excellent security with electric fencing and gates so that you can relax and enjoy your leisure, or business activities. Leave your vehicle in our secure car park and walk to all facilities of Umhlanga Rocks including the restaurants for an evening meal, leaving you with peace of mind regarding the "drinking and driving" regulations. Suite 1 Large, luxuriously appointed garden suite which sleeps two adults in either a king size bed, or twin beds. A third person or child (above the age of 10 years) can be accommodated on a sleeper couch. Suite 1 is often referred to as the "Honeymoon Suite" as it is private and spacious where you can relax in the lounge area, or on the private patio enjoying the abundant bird life in the indigenous trees.Honeymoon couples are welcomed to Anchor's Rest with a complimentary cold bottle of sparkling wine and a box of chocolates. Suite 2 Large, beautifully appointed garden suite which sleeps two adults in either a king size bed, or twin beds. A third person or child (above the age of 10 years) can be accommodated on a sleeper couch.This suite has a large corner bath and shower, which is ideal for a long, luxurious soak! There is a private covered patio, which is ideal for outdoor living. Situated in the garden away from other guest rooms, you have the feeling of being in a private garden apartment. Suite 3 A well-appointed two roomed suite, which consists of a separate bedroom and lounge with a full en suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath. The lounge can be made up as a bedroom with a double size sleeper couch for a third person, or child (above the age of 10 years).The suite is air conditioned with ceiling fans and both rooms have DStv with personal decoders. Suite 4 A large, luxuriously appointed suite overlooking the pool and tropical garden. This suite has a large, private patio with an electric sun awning, which is ideal for protection from the hot midday sun or to make your evening barbecue that bit cosier.This suite accommodates two people in either a king size bed, or twin beds, with a large en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath.
