DescriptionOur newly built guesthouse is designed to provideyou with comfort, space and privacy you woudl expect from a 4 star extablishment and is set in a lush, tropical garden bordering the nature reserve.
African Ambience Guest House in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park is owned by John Engelbrecht who is also a seasoned deep-sea skipper having operated his boat charter services for almost 2 decades in St. Lucia. He is acknowledged locally as the expert on deep-sea fishing and his services are in such demand that bookings are normally paid and confirmed weeks ahead by guests planning to holiday in St. Lucia. John has been a local resident for decades operating exclusively deep-sea charters and has added African Ambience Guest House to his portfolio of services in the area. Laura has since joined John with a specific view to managing African Ambience Guest House, adding that special "woman's touch". Many previous guests are evidence of the magic "African Ambience" experience in that they return time and again. African Ambience is designed to provide accommodation with comfort, space and privacy you would not expect from a four star graded establishment. The guesthouse is set in a lush tropical garden in St. Lucia inside a Natural World Heritage Site, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. African Ambience Guest House is surrounded by tranquil Koi ponds and water-features, creating the ideal ambience for total relaxation whether in or outdoors. The thatched "home away from home" has three very spacious, comfortable luxury rooms, and a honeymoon suite with private entrance, patio, garden view, safe, luxurious spa bath, TV and fridge. There are two double rooms and a family room on the first floor. All rooms are en suite, air-conditioned and have hospitality trays. We also offer a laundry service. Breakfast is served at leisure in the dining room or on the patio overlooking the rock pool. Delight in spotting antelope, squirrels, monkeys and birds in your immediate surroundings.
