About Villa L'Apparita
This luxurious guest home located on the North Coast of South Africa's lush KwaZulu-Natal province was inspired by the original Tuscan "L'Apparita" - which was initially no more than a modest farmhouse until it was converted to a splendid villa with the advent of a visionary designer. This South African version of that Tuscan homestead, looms up before your eyes and surprises you at every turn with enchanting and thoughtful aspects. It altogether lives up to its title of being a tranquil escape that any discerning traveler or business person would appreciate. There is a tranquil radiance to this home that leaves the voyager replenished and feeling well-treated. Located just 30 minutes North of the bustling heart of Durban it is a perfect spot to relax and unwind in a luxury environment after experiencing the vibrant life and culture of KwaZulu-Natal.

Our Single and Double rooms boast magnificent décor and luxurious style. Be treated to the very best of local fruit and delicacies on your arrival. Each air-conditioned room is fitted with an en-suite bathroom which includes an option of a bath for weary travellers in need of our mustard salt and bubble bath concoction or a refreshing shower for those just back from the beach - which is only 5 minutes away. Each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television with M-Net and a bar fridge fully stocked with everything from fine South African wine to French Champagne. All of the bedrooms at Villa L'Apparita are beautifully decorated and wonderfully serene. Sit back and enjoy your Sherry with compliments. We regret no children under the age of 12.

The KwaZulu-Natal North Coast is famed for its warm sub-tropical climate, a wealth of marine life, a great African history and an array of fine dining venues. Salt Rock itself is so named owing to the activity of King Shaka's handmaidens who used to collect dried salt off the rocks at low tide for trade with passing settlers. Today, Salt Rock is a wonderful holiday destination boasting good deep sea fishing and diving over the reefs. Our main beaches are protected by lifeguards and shark nets for the safety of bathers. We at Villa L'Apparita invite you to enjoy our beautiful countryside and rich coastline and we arrange tours for the traveller seeking game viewing (we are close to Hluhluwe and Umfolozi), hunting, bird watching, fishing or whale and dolphin watching. The area also offers a gym, golf, casinos, microlighting and a great variety of seafood restaurants. St Lucia, a world heritage site, is 1.5 hours away and Hippo Tours can be arranged. Villa L'Apparita is particularly unique in that we offer supreme event co-ordination for those business persons looking for conferences accomplished with outstanding catering and stylish touches.
