- The rooms were very clean,but the walk from reception to the rooms are awful.Shabby is all i can think of.The place is in bad need of renovations,tiles are too old,and the general "look"of the place was not appealing.We booked with breakfast,and on both mornings,we waited close to an hour for food.That restaurant is terribly managed.I liked the fact that we could walk from the beach straight to the room.The cleaning staff get my thumbs up,friendly & efficient.Will not go back to this place in a hurry.

- A very nice place to spend time with the family but due to an incident with the security guard from Gremick Security on 12/09/2008 as well as the unsatisfying response from the manager has ensured that I will never return here or recommend this place to anyone. As guests who had booked 3 apartments for the weekend, we were treated like we were in a military camp.

Directions

From the King Shaka International Airport join the N2 North to Stanger. Take the Ballito/Compensation off-ramp where you will reach a stop street. Turn right at this stop street and proceed over the bridge into Ballito Drive. Continue along Ballito Drive where you will cross three traffic circles. Continue for another +- 2km after the 3rd circle until you reach a T-junction where you turn right. Continue until you reach a four-way stop. Turn left into Compensation Beach Road. La Montagne is 1km down the road on the right.
