This privately owned, family run, Guest House, is set in a beautiful garden with a breathtaking view overlooking the neighbouring False Bay Park, part of the Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site. Priding ourselves as a small Guest House with two unique "Domed" rooms as well as two conventional rooms only, we guarantee our guests the personal attention they all deserve. Our distinct, individual en-suite "Domes", the Heron and Pelican, sleep a maximum of four people each on two single beds as well as a sleeper couch. Both the Heron and Pelican are notably spacious and have their own large en-suite bathrooms. Originally equipped as additional rooms to the family home, our Domes are comfortable and charming with a television, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, air-conditioners, ceiling fans as well as the necessary mosquito screens. Being apart from the main house three of our rooms afford our guests privacy and at the same time a sense that they are part of the family experience. Our two smaller conventional en-suite rooms, one of which is inside the main house are suited to those looking for the more conventional feel. Comfortably seated either at our extra-large, solid oak dining table inside the main house or on the patio overlooking the lake and garden, our breakfasts and dinners are cooked with passion by Sandi who prides herself in preparing delicious, wholesome, South African fare. Perfectly situated off the beaten trek, with a mere 15 minute drive from the N2 National Highway and the village of Hluhluwe, this Guest House is the perfect place to call your home as your experience and explore the natural wonders of the Elephant Coast, from the renowned Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve which is on our doorstep, to the scuba diving hub of Sodwana Bay. This Guest House is far enough from the crowds to allow you peace of mind and tranquillity, yet within easy access to the likes of Mkuze Game Reserve, the beaches of St Lucia and Cape Vidal. Spend a day at St Lucia with its beaches, fishing and whale watching, or perhaps a boat ride on the estuary to see crocodiles, hippos and the beautiful African Fish Eagle. Sodwana Bay, well known for diving and game fishing also makes for a wonderful days outing, or simply experience the local traditions at the nearby cultural village and craft centre. As a prime fishing destination the area offers deep sea fishing where the likes of marlin, tuna, sailfish, king and queen fish can be caught. Reluctant to venture out into the deep blue, Cape Vidal, Sodwana Bay, St Lucia, Kosi Bay, Lake Sibaya and Jozini are well loved by locals where grunter, shad, kob and tiger fish can be caught.
