Durban Ice Rink

Good clean, healthy fun for the whole family!

Description

Established in 1955, the Durban Ice Rink is the ideal venue for good, clean, affordable fun. On a Friday and Saturday night the venue is at its peak, welcoming about 300 visitors per night. During these sessions exciting games and the latest music is played so skaters can really party on ice! It’s also a great way to meet new friends.

The Ice Rink is not just about entertainment, for those of you that want to take up figure skating or ice hockey as a sport you can sign up at any one of the various clubs for just R80 per month. For example on Sunday mornings from 8am to 9am kids can join the ice hockey development class as well as the Durban Junior Ice Skating Club on Saturday mornings from 7:45am to 9:45am. There is even a session on Wednesday and Sunday mornings for kids with disabilities.

Private lessons are also available at R25 for 15 minutes.

The Ice Rink is also a great venue to have your birthday party. For just R30 per person, you will receive a burger, coke and a two-hour skate session! You are also welcome to bring in your own treats. A R5 discount is offered for group bookings over 15 people.
